Troubleshooting

Find the next useful check when a connection, campaign task, or Autopilot run needs attention.

Connection problems

The account is missing: confirm that the authorized Google login can access it. For a manager account, select the intended managed advertising account rather than stopping at the manager.

Authorization expired or was revoked: reconnect Google Ads, then confirm the selected account before starting new work.

Permissions error: inspect the error message and account access in Google Ads. Retrying with the same missing permission will not resolve it.

See Connect Google Ads for the setup flow.

Campaign creation failed

  1. Open the task's Details and Logs.
  2. Find the last completed step and the reported error.
  3. Check the destination URL, account access, campaign inputs, and any external-service error.
  4. Inspect the campaign and Google Ads for resources that may already have been created.
  5. Resolve the cause before starting another creation request.

Check before repeating work. A failed task can leave published resources behind. Starting the same campaign again can create additional resources.

Autopilot is not running

Open Manage AI Autopilot and check:

  • Whether Autopilot is enabled and its runtime state is active or on hold.
  • Whether the campaign and Google Ads connection are eligible for a run.
  • Whether the subscription and required usage are available.
  • The selected frequency, last-run information, and next scheduled time when shown.
  • Whether an action is waiting for approval rather than execution.

Run Now is available only when the campaign's Autopilot state permits it. Changing a frequency does not guarantee an immediate run. See Configure Autopilot.

A proposal is still pending

Check the campaign's activity timeline. Expansion proposals always need approval; applicable budget changes can also need approval if that setting is enabled.

Approving starts execution. Follow the resulting task or activity status to see whether it completed, partially succeeded, or failed.

Progress updates stopped

Refresh the dashboard and reopen the task. A disconnected live view does not prove that the task stopped running.

Check the latest timestamp, status, and error details. Avoid starting duplicate work just because the progress view has stopped updating. If the task appears stuck, share its ID and last available logs with support.

Published ads are not serving

Check the campaign and asset status in Google Ads, including policy review, account readiness, targeting, and budget settings. AdeptAds task completion confirms the workflow result; it does not bypass Google's serving requirements.

Contact the team

Use the contact form. Include the affected account, campaign or task ID, the time, and the error you saw. Copied task logs can help the team identify the failing step.
